This is one of my favourite views across Truro showing the mighty railway viaduct which creates amazing shapes in the landscape. I have drawn it several times and made a linocut print but have been thinking about using the undulating shape in a textile for some time. I'm a bit closer to working out the pattern but it is a work in progress at the moment

You are so lucky to have such a wonderful view. If I look out of the spare room I can just make out one of the pillars of the might Battersea Power Station!! F x
'pillars' should read 'chimneys' of course!
