This week in the studio I have been mainly hand quilting

and had this splendid view of a rainbow over the cathedral

Wool Band Nostalgia

I was sorting out today and came across this band from some wool which I have had around for years and eventually used in this crochet blanket last year. 

I think the wool had originally belonged to my grandmother and got passed onto me at some point. It was lovely wool to use and I enjoyed the link it set up, with my grandmother choosing the wool at some point in the past and me eventually using it to make something
